An autumn wine dinner with Patrick Sandeman of Lea and Sandeman,
25th October 2010

BBG are hosting an autumn wine tasting dinner at BBG on Monday 25th October.

The menu will feature game and be accompanied by five different wines selected by Patrick Sandeman of Lea & Sandeman (IWC ‘Wine Merchant of the Year 2010’) from the Rhone, Burgundy and Bordeaux. Patrick will introduce each wine with in-depth background information on each of them over the course of the dinner. Tickets for the four-course dinner with aperitif and wines are £110.00 (7.30 pm for 8.00 pm)

Benji Cooper exhibits at BBG

 

The London Restaurant Festival

We have recently purchased a British flag painted by the up and coming artist Benji Cooper. Benji is based in Spain and BBG is now among a select few of his collectors including Al Gore and Nelson Mandela.

SEPTEMBER MENUS

We have launched two new styles of menu for our  weekly lunch and evening service. Our weekly set menu remains great value at £15.50 for 2 courses and £18.50 for 3 courses. In addition we now offer a choice from our pudding menu. We will offer complimentary coffee or an infusion with the 3 course menu. These set menus are available from Mon – Sat lunch and evenings until 7.30pm.

We have also introduced a new ‘Express Menu’ which runs Mon – Sat lunch – and which includes: A main course and coffee for only £12.50.

Our Head Chef, Gary Durrant lists his Top Ten favourite ingredients for September as:
Grouse - Partridge - Wood Pigeon - Sweetcorn - Wild Mushrooms - Cabbages - Tomatoes - Blackberries - Damsons - New Season Apples
