Welcome to the August Newsletter. We have gathered some information of what's on and what has happened at BBG. We hope you find it useful and do forward it on to anyone you think might find it of interest.

 
 
AUGUST MENUS

We have launched two new styles of menu for our  weekly lunch and evening service. Our weekly set menu remains great value at £15.50 for 2 courses and £17.50 for 3 courses. In addition we now offer a choice from our pudding menu. We will offer complimentary coffee or an infusion with the 3 course menu. These set menus are available from Mon – Sat lunch and evenings until 7.30pm.

We have also introduced a new ‘Express Menu’ which runs Mon – Sat lunch – and which includes: Special dish of the day, a glass of wine and coffee for only £12.50

Sunday Lunch at BBG

 

Jazz is back at BBG

These offers of free puddings and coffee will also be available with our ‘Sunday Set Menu’. We offer great value with ample choice which will always include a Sunday Roast. For £17.50 for 2 courses and £19.50 for 3 courses, it could be the best value Sunday lunch in Knightsbridge. Chef Gary has also introduced a new Children’s Menu priced at £9.50 for 2 courses. Our autumn schedule is nearly ready and will be uploaded online very soon. In the meantime I can inform you of our opening dates that have been confirmed:

TJ Johnson and his band – Friday 10th September, 10pm -11.50pm
Amelia Singer and the Trinity Trio – Saturday 11th September 10pm -11.50pm

Grouse and other August ingredients

For the second year, BBG hosted a stand at the annual Summer Garden Party in Thurloe Square. Francois was again cooking the BBQ and produced some sample dishes for the party guests. Along with BBQ Devilled Kidneys we offered Snail and Bacon Kebabs and Salmon Rillettes on Toast.

 

The shooting season is back and we can announce that all game will be featuring on our menus and specials board. Along with grouse Gary has put together his top ten ingredients for August that he will be using on the BBG menus:

  • Aubergines
  • French & Runner Beans
  • Sweetcorn
  • Tomatoes
  • Fennel
  • Girolles
  • Langoustine
  • Sardines
  • Greengages
  • Apricots
