TJ Johnson and his Band – Live Jazz – 10.15pm – 11.45pm – BBG Bar

TJ Johnson is widely considered to be one of the UK's finest jazz and blues singers. He is also an accomplished piano player, drummer and a respected bandleader. Always a true ambassador of the soul, TJ sings songs of love lost and gained, of life wholesome and corrupt, songs of hope, songs of the night, all with the true passion and boozy swagger of only a man who has been there and knows.

LIVE BLUES – Friday 24th February
Little George Sueref and the Blue Stars 10.15pm – 11.45pm – BBG Bar

We are pleased to welcome back Little George after a very successful New Year’s Eve performance at BBG.

TJ Johnson LIVE!!In the eighties he decided to make London his home and from there he began to build a solid reputation as a dedicated Blues & Soul man. His love for downhome blues included the likes of Jimmy Reed, Snooky Pryor, J.B. Hutto & Muddy Waters, not to mention some of the great soul blues artists like Johnnie Taylor, Clay Hammond & Sam Cooke. After sometime he joined forces with the like minded & wonderful 'Big Joe Louis & His Blues Kings' and very quickly they became well known as being one of the toughest blues teams around. Whilst paying his dues as Big Joe's Harp player touring all over the world, he also featured as a vocalist and soon became known as one of the U.K.'s finest and unusual blues singers and not surprisingly began running his own band as well as playing with Big Joe. He then went on to win the 'Blueprint' magazine "Harp Player Of The Year" award 3 times. www.littlegeorge.co.uk
